Postscript

Tuesday, March 29th, 2011

If you like comics about super heroes but are willing to think outside the box a little on what a superhero comic can be then Joe Grunenwald’s Postscript is for you.
I don’t want to give too much away but it feels like a golden age superheo tale only it’s told from the perspective of the supervillain’s mother. Joe G. wrote and drew it himself and I did the cover. He sells them for a dollar and you can order one by emailing him at joe@guttertrash.net so grab one while you can as it’s truly a great debut comic.

Mr. Arnold was a country music star. I had never heard of him but my mom has one of his records so I drew his portrait. I also misspelled his name but fixed it. Sorry Mr. Arnold.

Veggie Dog Saturn #5

Tuesday, March 15th, 2011

Like an old friend you wish would just stop visiting it’s here! Veggie Dog Saturn issue 5 is ready to be consumed! So grab three one dollar bills, shove ‘em in an envelope and mail it to the address at the bottom of this page (checks or money orders are okay too) or send me your digital cash via paypal at veggiedogsaturn@gmail.com

This one features 5 never before published autobiographical tales of hilarity and/or grossness written and drawn by me plus a story that was originally published in the wonderful anthology comic Not My Small Diary.

This comic book officially releases at SPACE this weekend in Columbus, Ohio. So, if you’re going to be there, drop by the Buyer Beware table and pick up a copy in person. I’ll be happy to draw any character in the known universe on it for you for free (although I might need a piece of reference). Hope to see you there!

Strange Love

Geez, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything… but over the weekend I once again gained access to photoshop so I should be posting regularly for the forseeable future. And speaking of the future here’s a sketch of the cover to a sci-fi mini comic that will be coming out this summer from the fine folks at Buyer Beware Comics.
By the way don’t forget SPACE (the Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo) is coming up in a couple of weeks in Columbus where I and many other starving comics artists will be peddling their wares… don’t miss it!
