Batman Day
Saturday September 23rd is Batman Day! And to celebrate I finished this tribute to Dick Sprang that I’ve been working on for awhile (or more accurately began working on, quit for a year, and then picked back up after I moved).
Dick Sprang was an amazing guy (look him up, in addition to a comics artist he was an explorer/adventurer) and my personal favorite Two Face artist in the history of comics. His Batman work is so distinct and beautiful, I can’t say enough good things about his wonderful artwork.
This drawing is based on a pin-up Sprang did thirty years ago that blew me away when I first saw it. Here’s to Batman and to Dick Sprang. Thanks for the amazing comics!

Defenders of the Planets #1
Defenders of the Planets issue one is now loose on the streets!
This first issue was co-written by Matt Brassfield and I with artwork also by yours truly. It’s an action/fantasy story based on the generic toyline from the ’80’s by the same name and is aimed at young adults and older.
