I just read a bunch of ‘What’s For Breakfast?’ (an excellent Far Side style comic strip by Boston artist Patt Kelley) and felt inspired to pay tribute to his work.

Ben Katchor and Seth
Today, my friend Eric and I made the quick journey to Columbus, Ohio for the 2nd annual Cartoon Crossroads Columbus! It was a great show and we started off the day by sitting in on a conversation between cartoonists Seth and Ben Katchor, hosted by Tom Spurgeon (swell folk all)! While they talked, I sketched them.
Even though Seth said a lot of interesting things, I failed to jot down any quotes from him…so here’s a sketch I did of his sweet kicks!
If you didn’t get the chance to attend this year’s show I highly recommend checking it out next year.

Future Me
