Woody Allen

I’m doing a series of ‘Lil Portraits of some (kind of) famous people. Who knows… maybe you would like to buy one? They’re tiny. Roughly 3.5″ x 3.5″ on bristol board but I’d be happy to vary the size based on your needs. I’ll do any person you want (even Courtney Love or Fidel Castro) and mail it to you for a reasonable price. Contact me and we can work out the details.

Although he’s not my favorite director he has easily made more movies I like than any other two directors. And The Purple Rose of Cairo is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. It’s up there with Twister.

“Purple Rose” & “Twister” should be a double bill somewhere

That might even get me to go out to the theater.

This post might be cursed. The day after it went up Dylan Farrow posted her open letter to the New York Times alleging that Woody Allen molested her when she was a child.

Then the very next day an actor best known for his role in Twister died of a drug overdose.

I just hope nothing bad happens to Courtney Love or Fidel Castro.

Too late for those last two.

  1. The only thing that would make “Purple Rose” any better would be Bill Paxton as the lead.
