This is a comic about why you shouldn’t fuck with people. Also because it’s just not nice.

Slinging Some Comics in Lakewood
Last weekend was Genghis Con in scenic Lakewood, Ohio and I went there to sell some comics and become a millionaire. Above you can see the sweet show space that was on the second floor of an old warehouse called the Lake Erie Building.
My pal Nate McDonough was there…
As were the fellas from Cowboy House. Here we see Fred Frances and Mike Madsen wondering where their cohort Jeff Gibbons wandered off to this time (probably to score some crack in the parking lot).
Here’s me with a sweet old car that was just hanging out there.
And here’s a shot of my table and neighbors. On the Left is Joe Kuth and that’s John Bailey on the right. Talked with both about music for awhile during the show. Nice guys and swell cartoonists too.
Had a good time hanging out at the show and traveling with my pal Eric. So much great artwork and awesome cartoonists in one place. Looking forward to next year’s show!

Brassfield
This morning I hung out at DATV while my friend Matt Brassfield did some video editing for his horror show Baron Von Porkchop’s Terrifying Tales of the Macabre!
Matt talks about werewolves almost every time I see him… which is awesome.
If you’d like to read his thoughts on all manner of subject (including werewolves) visit his fantastic blog Rotten Ink.

Freida Warther
Back in April of this year I visited the Warther Museum in Dover,Ohio. The focus of the museum was Ernest “Mooney” Warther’s amazing hand carved trains and tools but also there is his wife Freida’s button collection. There are more than 70,000 of them on display in patterns lining the ceiling and every wall in her “button house” (50,000 of them being unique) and it’s pretty amazing.
If you ever get the chance to visit the museum I highly recommend it. There’s a tree made of pliers!!!

Day Off Diary… the comic!
Printed up this collection of Day Off Diary strips to give away at Genghis Con later this month (see previous post for more details).
That’s right… it’s FREE!!! And you can only get it at the con so come on out and make a day of it at an awesome comic show.
It’s true, you can read most every strip from this collection here on the blog, but I did do a brand new strip just for this book so make sure you pick up a copy at the show!
Edna says it’s pretty great, by the way.
