When I was a kid Longshot was right up there with Batman and Wolverine as one of my favorite comic book characters (mostly because of the Art Adams artwork in Uncanny X-men Annuals #10 and #12 and his own six issue mini-series written by Ann Nocenti).
Other than the Art Adams artwork I loved the idea of all the female X-men heroes swooning over a guy with a mullet (I too had a mullet and wanted the attention of the likes of Storm and Dazzler).
