For Christmas the lovely Kathleen Coyle (girlfriend of yours truly) gave me a heaping pile of art supplies including a nice pocket sized sketchbook. I’ve decided to do a diary comic in it of whatever I do on my days off for the entire year of 2012. So here’s the first week’s worth of them.
Above is the very first one (January 1st) and following are a few more (just click on each icon to see them grow as if they were one of those spongy dinosaurs in a bowl of water). I’ll probably post them once a week so keep checking in if you’d like to see how I waste my days off.
I am sorry that I forced you to watch Grey’s Anatomy. I wish I were sorry enough that I could promise it will never happen again. I cannot make that promise. And also OH MY GOD YOUR SOCKS ARE CUTE. I didn’t notice them the first time around!
Kat, if you were my girlfriend, forcing me to watch Grey’s Anatomy would cause me to break up with you. You’re a terrible person for making Jason watch it, and Jason is a friggin’ saint for putting up with it, and I say that as a person who was paid to watch that show for a while. (I mostly kid, I love you both).
Jason, I think I’d rather see these as they happen, not in week-long chunks. Also bigger, if possible. I’m getting old and can’t afford new glasses.
Yeah, I think they need to be bigger from now on as well. And as far as posting them weekly or daily… luckily for everyone I only have one day off this week so I’ll just post the one (and if I can motivate myself to scan ’em in more often I’ll just post them as they happen from here on out).
My socks ARE pretty darn cute aren’t they?
Just think how much of a breeze it will be to keep this updated with only one day off a week!
