S.P.A.C.E. Anthology Comic 2012

The Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo (or SPACE) is coming up on April 21st and 22nd in Columbus, Ohio and Brian John Mitchell has once again put together an anthology of comics by some of the exhibitors. This year is a milestone though as it is the first year there will be a print verison instead of only the usual digital version! Exciting indeed!

And speaking of exciting… I’m super excited because in said anthology is the first collaborative comic by yours truly and my lovely ladyfriend Kathleen Coyle! That’s right, she wrote a four page autobiographical story which I then drew then handed it back to her to color
… BY HAND!

The 98 page full color SPACE Anthology 2012 is available as a free pdf download (and shortly on iPad through the Cloud 9 Comix app) and the tangible version will be available for $20 at SPACE and on Amazon.

You can visit Back Porch Comics to check it out (and find out more about the show) or click on the “Kathleen’s Patronus Memory” icon above all this yapping for a short preview.

See you at SPACE!

That’s why you had to leave Mavericks my snookums.

  1. Very skillfully told. I like the Potter bookend structure. The patronus of the title turned out to be a clever fake-out. It’s really about a happy time between a mother and her daughter. Nicely done.
