My pal Nate’s band is playing a show at Smokin’ Aces this weekend in scenic Xenia, Ohio. Anyone into rockin’ music in the vein of the Dropkick Murphys or Flogging Molly take note. I personally have never heard the Irish Car Bombs and absolutely cannot stand the Dropkick Murphys or Flogging Molly but Nate is a heck of a nice guy and everyone should support him and his band. Plus it’s free! Also I did the art for their gig poster… which I’m mostly happy with except for looking back on it I would’ve fattened up the border of the date and location. Oh well, live and learn!

The night before the show I was at Smokin’ Aces and when I went into the men’s room this poster was hanging over the urinal… the thought of strangers looking at my artwork while they pee… well that can mean only one thing. I’ve made it! I’m officially an artist!!!!
