The Girl in the Negativeland T-shirt

Sunday, February 12th, 2012

This is a mini-comic that I made years ago that was only in print for a few months but I recently had a new batch made for your consumption!

As proof that I’m interested in doing things other than mildly entertaining autobiographical comics this is a heartwarming tale about two strangers whose paths cross during a snowstorm at a tiny little motel.

It was inspired by this motel I visited often during the years I used to trek up to Massachusetts every few weeks to see my girlfriend.

As stated in the introduction to the comic our relationship didn’t weather the distance but I’ve never lost that soft spot in my heart for the Lighthouse Inn in Silver Creek, NY.

The Girl in the Negativeland t-shirt is $2.00 postpaid to the address at the bottom of this page.

Day Off Diary – Jan. 17th

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

One of the rules I made for myself when I started this diary comic was that I can only use a pen (no pencils or erasers). So things like mispelling the word “faulty” or drawing a cat way too big are just problems we’re going to have from time to time (also see Kathleen’s giant head from Jan. 8th).

I just realized I do a webcomic. I have to go take a shower now.

Day Off Diary (week one)

Monday, January 9th, 2012

For Christmas the lovely Kathleen Coyle (girlfriend of yours truly) gave me a heaping pile of art supplies including a nice pocket sized sketchbook. I’ve decided to do a diary comic in it of whatever I do on my days off for the entire year of 2012. So here’s the first week’s worth of them.

Above is the very first one (January 1st) and following are a few more (just click on each icon to see them grow as if they were one of those spongy dinosaurs in a bowl of water). I’ll probably post them once a week so keep checking in if you’d like to see how I waste my days off.

Bullwinkle

Click on the image above to find out why Bullwinkle has developed a drinking problem. This comic is dedicated to the wonderful Potter family (for one of which this drawing fulfills a request… sort of)!
