On Friday May 13th We Car Arts presents “An Evening At The Races!” where you can bet on a horse race for charity. The races are shown on television but the excitement is right there in the room.
Each winner gets a one of a kind hand painted piggy bank containing a $25 purse. Pictured above is Edgar Allan Pig painted by yours truly.
In addition to the race there’s also a buffet and again, it’s all for charity. Check it out if you’re in the Dayton area on May 13th!

Hey! That’s fantastic, from the raven atop the head to the ebony mustache near his chinny-chin-chin! And you even spelled “Allan” correctly, unlike several of my high school English teachers whom I had to immure for their sacrilege. Now I know the result when one haunted American original genius pays tribute to another (and notice how I graciously ignore that you transmuted the poet’s haunting features into a porcine portrait). Unfortunately, I can’t attend since I have a meeting with my parole officer that dark and dreadful Friday 13th, but I’ll certainly be toasting your creation with a glass of amontillado-flavored Kool-Aid at the stroke of midnight.
