This is a character created by Rob Liefeld, drawn by Eric Shonborn and colored by me.

This was super fun for me to do for two reasons. First because I sincerely love Liefeld’s character designs and second because this is the first time I’ve colored a piece of Eric’s art (he’s colored plenty of mine).

Check out more of Eric’s sweet ink and (occasionally) colored pixels here.

This is the first page of a comic I did for an upcoming charity book for victims of the typhoon that destroyed much of the Philippines in November 2013.

It’s being put together by Adam Pasion who did the Aftershock benefit anthology in 2011 for victims of the tsunami and earthquake in Japan and features many great cartoonists from various countries including, of course, the Philippines.

Here is a link to the Kickstarter page (which due to a strange rule about doing charity work on their page you can no longer actually mention that it’s for charity… but trust me, it is).

Help a good cause and read some good comics at the same time… what could be better?

This guy had a sad face. And wrote poetry. You’ve probably read some.

I’m done posting portraits for now. I’m still doing them though and you can purchase one of the ones I’ve done or commission me to do whoever you want. Anybody, famous or not.

They’re roughly 3.5″ x 3.5″ but I’d be happy to vary the size based on your needs. Contact me and we can work out the details.

Thanks!

I’m doing a series of ‘Lil Portraits of some (kind of) famous people. Who knows… maybe you would like to buy one? They’re tiny. Roughly 3.5″ x 3.5″ on bristol board but I’d be happy to vary the size based on your needs. I’ll do any person you want (even Pol Pot or George Lucas) and mail it to you for a reasonable price. Contact me and we can work out the details.
I gave my heartfelt words on how much Vonnegut’s work means to me back in November so this time I’ll just say he had one of the best faces. It’s up there with John Hurt and Steve Buscemi.

Someone won this ‘lil portrait by listening to the podcast Guttertrash (which I co-host with my pal Eric). Maybe you should listen sometime too… you might win something (likely) or even be entertained (unlikely). Oh yeah, you should also know that the podcast is potty mouthed. You have been warned!
